But when it comes to this recipe, I used green lentils because of their incredible nutty and creamy flavor.
These lentils take only 15 minutes to cook, but make sure you are soaking them first. I usually soak lentils overnight, but you can soak them 1 hour before cooking and you are just fine!

I usually soak the lentils a night before cooking, but you can soak it for at least 1 hour before cooking and you will be just fine. However, if you forget to soak the lentils, don't worry! You can still cook them, but it will take a longer time to cook.
So when the lentils are coked, prepare a pan with oil and fry the garlic until golden and fragrant.
Then add veggie broth seasoning and cooked lentils. If you don't have veggie broth seasoning you can use your favorite spice mix.
Next, add in soy cream and stir continuously.
Lastly, add in salt, pepper, lemon juice and you are done. Enjoy with cooked potatoes and fresh veggies!

Ingredients
- 250 g green lentils
- 1 liter water
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp veggie broth powder
- 100 ml soy cream
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice / vinegar
