Plums go so well with poppy seeds. There is something special about this combination. Sweet and juicy plums compliment very nice creamy and pungent poppy seeds. This poppyseed cake with plums is amazing. Flullfy butter with creamy poppy seeds and juicy plums are everything!
Plum cakes are one of my favorites. The taste of a plum in a cake is delicious. When it comes to a batter, I also added grated zucchini so the cake was soft even without the use of a banana or dates. This made the cake even more juicer and not dry. I also cooked the poppy seeds and placed them with a spoon on top along with plums, so an interesting pattern was created on the cake. I love using poppy seeds in various recipes, check out my potato dumplings with plums!
The last important thing is cinnamon. Don't skip this step. Cinnamon is so important in this recipe. It will give such a delicate and smooth taste. I will also combine all the flavors.
