Easy hummus recipe without tahini

Hummus can be easily made at home. You don't need any special equipment or ingredients to make delicious hummus. This easy hummus recipe without tahini is a must if you are a hummus lover!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • Juice of half of lemon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin * optional
  • 1/4 cup ice-cold water
  • 4 tbsp oil

Equipment

  • High speed blender *or food processor

Method
 

  1. In a high-speed blender or a food processor add chickpeas, lemon juice, seasonings, and process a few times. Slowly add cold water and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Serve drizzled with oil, extra black pepper, and chili flakes. If needed, add additional water to thin out the hummus. Enjoy!
