SWEET POTATO & CAROB BROWNIES

These sweet potato & carob brownies are slightly different than you know, but if you wanna try something new, definitely make this recipe! The full recipe is gluten-free, vegan, and sugar-free.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 fresh pitted dates
  • 1 small cooked sweet potato
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup millet flour
  • 1/3 cup  gf oat flour
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp carob powder
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk

Method
 

  1. In a food processor blend dates, sweet potato, vanilla extract, and a splash of milk into a smooth consistency. 
  2. In a large bowl combine flours, baking powder, baking soda, and carob powder. Then add the date mixture and plant-based milk. Mix it all and bake at 160°C for about 35-40 mins.
  3. After baking let it cool completely and decorate with carob or chocolate. Enjoy!
