In a large bowl combine cooked chickpeas, minced garlic, beetroot, mustard, and seasonings.
Use a hand blender or food processor and blend until smooth, but it doesn't have to be perfect.
When the mixture is dry, feel free to add a splash of water.
Create patties using your hand and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.
Bake patties for 20 minutes on 170°C (350F) then remove from the oven and add vegan cheese (optional) bake for another 5 minutes.
Serve with hamburger buns, vegan mayo, and veggies. Enjoy!
