Banana & cherry ice cream

The fruit season is the best season! The fact that I can pick fresh fruits from our garden is absolutely unbelievable. I wish It lasts longer. However, that makes me appreciate this season a lot more. This time I prepared a recipe for cherry & banana ice cream! This icecream is heavenly sweet, delicious and everyone will love it! It is super refreshing on hot days and great for movie nights as well!

The recipe for this cherry & banana ice cream is so simple. I used only two ingredients to prepare this delicious ice cream, which were bananas and cherries. However, fruit ice cream can be prepared from any frozen fruit. As a base, I still use bananas, which give the ice cream a creamy consistency and, of course, sweetness.

Maybe you've heard about nice cream. It is basically ice cream made from only one ingredient - frozen banana. All you have to do is blend your bananas in a blender and you will prepare really simple and healthy ice cream. This recipe is mainly inspired by this type of ice cream, however, I changed things up and I added cherries to it. This created such a yummy and sweet combination.

TIP: If you are not going to serve this ice cream right away, you can store the ice cream in the freezer for a few hours to achieve a firmer consistency. If it freezes too much in the freezer, simply blend it again.
