A smoothie bowl is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even a dessert. If you are craving something fresh, juicy but sweet, a smoothie bowl is the best choice, especially in the summer.

You can create so many different smoothie flavors by combining different fruits and even vegetables.

In this recipe I choose berries and bananas. Such a good combination.

Oh yes! Especially when it comes to smoothie bowls.

Yes, you can create a tasty smoothie bowl just by adding one type of berries ( for example only strawberries). But I found out, combining different types of berries will make the flavor a lot better. Also, by combining different types of berries, your smoothie is going to be so healthy!

Let's make this amazing refreshing smoothie bowl

Let's start by preparing all of your ingredients.

For this recipe you will need:

  • bananas
  • frozen blackberries
  • frozen raspberries
  • frozen strawberries
  • flax meal
  • soy milk

Here are the main ingredients. It is important to use frozen berries in this recipe. Smoothie bowls are thicker than drinkable smoothies. So you need to use some frozen ingredients to make it thicker because fruits contain usually lots of water.

I sometimes use frozen bananas and fresh berries, but In this recipe, I used fresh bananas and frozen berries and it worked perfectly!

So, add all of your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

If you don't have a high-speed blender, feel free to add a little bit more soy milk, but keep in mind that it will affect the consistency of your smoothie.

The less ligquid, the more thicker the smoothie bowl will be!

When your smoothie is perfectly blended, pour it into a bowl and decorate with granola and fresh fruits. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

Smoothie

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tbsp flax meal
  • 1/3 cup soy milk

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup mango

Instructions
 

  • In a blender add bananas, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, flax meal, and soy milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • If your blender is not strong enough, feel free to add a little bit more milk.
  • Pour the smoothie bowl into bowls and decorate with granola and fresh fruits. Enjoy!
